Being Aware of what’s actually happening now is a very effective way of training your attention and improving your wellbeing. It is scientifically proven to have a positive impact on your brain. We all have the ability to do this however it comes more naturally to some of us than others.
We can all practice and improve this amazing ability to put our attention where we want it, when we want it and leave it there. We know that ruminating and worrying doesn’t change anything it just makes us feel bad. How do we stop these thoughts? Well this practice will help prevent the mind from being hijacked on a train of unhelpful thoughts and gives us the power to bring it back if it does!
So put a little time aside each day to practise Being Aware………there are 2 practises one sitting and one standing.
